WHO INVENTED HOMEWORK AND WHY

Now it No Longer is the Main Goal?

When asked recently "who invented homework," many adults had very little information to offer. Some thought for a second that it came from Dr. Seuss, but that wasn't true. Others believed it originated in the United States during the time of the Common Core Standards, but that also didn't make much sense either. So, what do we really know?

In this article, I want to tell you a little bit more about who invented homework, and why you should consider learning how to write my essay.

To oversimplify things, back in middle schools and high school, kids were assigned homework during their free time. Teachers expected the children to do their homework, no matter what, so they created multiple assignment systems. One system was just a piece of paper with a few daily tasks printed on it, such as "do your homework on time" or "do my assignment for me", and the student was to do the task each day, punctually.

Another system was much more complex and involved the creation of several papers. These paper assignments then went to the parent or teacher, who would evaluate the child's papers and decide which assignments they liked best.

Over time, many researchers suggest that increased academic achievement may be linked to greater cultural assimilation. That is, if kids are given additional educational opportunities to learn new knowledge at home, they perform better in school. Homework can be viewed as a source of new knowledge. Thus, by giving kids additional knowledge through homework, teachers can improve the quality of education for their students.

But there is something else to this. In our highly urbanized society, kids tend to forget that the main purpose of homework is not to teach them anything.

Most kids, when they do end up doing homework, they set the materials aside and focus on their own activities. They forget to read the worksheets, to note the tests or to do any kind of independent work.

In fact, most of the time after kids complete their homework, they return to their activities, only this time they have already gone through the books, marked the answers and have written the answers down! This is not the way to enhancing learning!

The whole purpose of studying is to acquire new knowledge and absorb it well. When you go through an educational system, each and every activity is designed to help you gain knowledge. The same is true for homework.

So why did this specific chore become associated with studying? Why is there only one main purpose to our homework? Why you should as someone to write my essay for me cheap?

If these main goals were not achieved, then it is clear that teachers would spend less time with each and every student, as they know that without mastering the basics, they cannot achieve independent study and also develop independent working skills. This explains why there are many teachers who give more attention to studying instead of working.

It must be understood that there are many benefits to an effective learning process, but it is also clear that the main goals of homework are not achieved with this method.

Who invented homework and why now it is not the main goal? When you are a student, it is obvious that you love studying. As a matter of fact, most students love this type of work because they get to learn their lessons and assignments in their free time. So what happens if the school starts offering homework instead of study?

The students become used to it quickly. As a result, the learning process gets compromised and the main goal of studying gets lost.

Homework was not invented to create a new task for students and teachers, but to help them develop independent working skills. Once the goal of studying is abandoned, working on the memorization becomes easier, not because the student has good memorizing skills but because he or she is using other resources such as the internet or memory cards. So who invented homework and why now it no longer is the main goal?

In the last decade, there has been more changes than ever before, especially in the field of information technology. One of these changes is the introduction of computers in education, creating new ways of memorizing information.
